What is involved in a Hot Stone Massage?
At Mellow Moods we prepare for your hot stone massage session in advance by preheating basalt stones to 120 degrees. Essential oils are used along with long flowing strokes using the hot stones to promote the ultimate tranquility massage.
The stones are placed on specific areas of the body and used as an extension of the therapists own hands. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more effectively.
60 minutes - $90
90 minutes - $120
120 minutes - $160
This specialty massage is NOT for you if you suffer from any of the following conditions: diabetes, cancer, autoimmune dysfunction, epilepsy, neuropathy, skin conditions, or recent surgeries.
